Her treatment emphasizes helping people heal and not just treating them as diagnostic cases. She is very passionate about removing the stigma associated with mental illness and treating the mind and body as a whole entity. Dr. Basu is committed to applying evidence-based treatment and enjoys combining psychotherapy with psychopharmacology to find the right balance for the patient. She enjoys treating people from all walks of life and all psychiatric disorders. She speaks English, Hindi, Nepalese and Bengali.
